Well yeah making a NEW game with an entirely new game engine will take a lot of programmers, developers, etc. As I said before, when GW2 gets to a point where it doesn't need many developers, there will be more going onto GW1.

Making an expansion is different than an actual game. With an expansion you already have the base for it done, you don't have to recode the game engine. You only have to come up with new content. That will take less developers than an entirely new game.

They are making the titles in the HoM account based or character based based on your preferences. They aren't making the titles on your actual character account based. So you get r10 norn on character 1, you won't have r10 on any other character. It'll only show up in your HoM that you achieved r10 on your account. Your actual characters it won't show up in the heroes panel, just the HoM.

I guess i have posted already but again. No i don't think i'm moving to GW2. Why? GW1 has been screw'd up and by the time there's much more interesting products coming out. Diablo 3, hopefully DarkFall.

Diablo 3 is Isometric view only and mouse click movement only. Epic fail.

They do this so it wont compete in the same marked with WoW. I can see why it makes sense, but it kills any anticipation I had for the game. lol...

Not only that but you cant even design your own character. You have to choose one of the pre excisting ones. Completely retarded.

Fail less plz. If you care more about customizing characters rather than fun gameplay, go play Sims: World of Addoncraft. Second release.

And find me a HnS (not RPG) with WORKING wsad. None. Because isometric view + mouse is the best way to play hns.

think i saw someone here say it before, can people not accept that gw1 might not get "as much attention as before", at least till gw2 is fully done, to get all games its around 170$ can people not accept that spending that 170, or whatever you paid, dose not give you share to the company, it dose not give you a right to say, "work on this game not the one you want to get done as soon as you can with as few bugs as possible."

1. if people get sick of guild wars, but still want to play guild wars 2, then move on to something els, heck go get something done in real life. you can always just pick up a copy of gw2 when it comes out and not be at any significant disadvantage.

and if we have them working too much on gw1 and gw2, then there will most likely be either a later release date for gw2, or more bugs in gw2.

I was saying I'd rather most of their team work on GW2 so it won't be as buggy and not fun, but also out soon enough to where Anet doesn't go out of business. They probably have some money coming in from NCSoft, but probably NCSoft won't be willing to help sustain them forever. I'm not saying I'm completely bored and tired of GW1 that I'm complaining about it.
I know that people will no doubt hear about GW2 when Anet releases some new information. It'll be like a virus. One gaming site has a bit of new information on it, next thing you know all gaming sites have something on it.

But! they save it all for GW2 to blow you away that is why all the new expansion on GW1 are so lame. I stop played for 13 months because its so boring after u hit the peak and what else to do except grinding for title...

After returning for 13 months vecation what did i learn? nothing new except a huge price drop on rare item and people hunt new item from the new expansion. wow~~ so new.......

so... GW1 will probably never get better than this but i belive GW2 will be at the very least... worth a few cash from me. A 1 time pay and beable to play forever that is always a good deal to me. even though i dont even play it.

Depends greatly. If it is going to be a generic MMO, grind for infinite levels for health and mana, then probably not. I'll go back to L2, actually I'm kinda itching to go back to playing it anyway despite the fact that it has nearly everything I hate about MMOs, but anyway...

I like GW because it is different. Is it perfect, no. I hope GW2 will continue to be different. But then there is always TCOS if it ever comes out :S
